Why all the shock and dismay? Did you think it would stay downtown forever? You want to minimize this problem? Ban handguns except for law enforcement. They are the next best thing to banned right now in Canada. Collect 'em all up and melt 'em down. That way no one can steal handguns (except from other criminals.). And while we're at it, we can cancel that stupid long gun registry. It hasn't stopped a single crime. Ever. That's it for today.
